THE MECHANICS
Same mint.
Different dog.
SwitcherInu adapts Vessel’s burn-to-rename mechanic. A single Solana token cycles through real historical and recent Shiba-themed coin identities as its supply is burned.
What triggers a switch?
Every cumulative 100,000 tokens burned advances one position in a fixed sequence. The starting identity is SwitcherInu. The first completed threshold selects the first identity; later thresholds advance through the bank and eventually wrap around.
Small burns add up. A large burn can skip several positions. Sending tokens to another wallet, including a so-called burn address, does not count unless the token program actually reduces the mint’s supply.
What do holders receive?
The same token, with an updated name, symbol and image. Unburned balances and the mint address stay the same. You do not receive DOGE, SHIB, WIF or any other project’s assets. The identities are references to independent projects, with no affiliation or endorsement implied.
How is the change applied?
A dedicated watcher reads confirmed supply and derives the correct identity. An authorized updater writes mutable token metadata. Only the updater controls metadata; it cannot mint more supply or sign a burn from your wallet. Wallets and market sites may cache older names or images.
This is an operated metadata service, not a permissionless on-chain identity contract. If the updater is stopped, unfunded or loses its authority, names will not change until the service is restored. The website disables its burn flow when it cannot verify supply or active automation.
Launch state
This build is pre-launch. No SwitcherInu mint, liquidity pool or public trading link has been connected. The interactive preview does not perform blockchain transactions.
The launch needs a new Solana mint with mutable Metaplex metadata, a verified updater, a fixed initial supply with mint authority revoked, and a funded transaction fee payer. Legacy Vessel keys, addresses and bindings are not reused.
Pump’s official launch documentation describes token names as immutable. That launch route cannot be assumed to support this mechanic. A mutable-metadata launch and authority check are required before activation. Read Pump’s launch documentation ↗
Burning is permanent
A real burn destroys the amount you approve. It is not a deposit, swap, payment for another coin or guarantee of value. The wallet review shows the amount, network and exact mint before signing. An identity change does not reverse a burn.
The identity bank
The bank uses real dog-coin identities with source links and local image records. Both older and newer projects can qualify. Duplicate mints are excluded, and the public album credits the original projects. Inclusion is not an assessment of a project’s quality or current activity.
